my ribs
hum honey
your fingers
marimba mallets
this dance our
springtime touch
curled reach in
my hibernation
the sky fumbles,
hitches out of me
chases my lungs
painting watercolor
auroras unfurled
left suspended
& breathing so
we do not forget
